Review

Serenity isn’t freedom from the storm, rather finding Peace in the middle of it.” Thomas a Kempis.

Find a place in your day for a little serenity, with a superb visit to what is reputedly ‘Britain’s smallest Cathedral,’ Saint Asaph Cathedral; standing proudly upon the historic warpaths of the Welsh princes. Saint Asaph Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of St. Asaph, one of the six dioceses of the Church in Wales. The present building was started in the 13th Century, and has the most awe-inspiring architecture and breathtaking stained glass windows for visitors to enjoy. Worship is the very centre of all things in this beautiful cathedral, where prayers have been offered daily for 1, 450 years. Visitors are warmly welcomed, including pilgrims of faith and those who wish to just soak up the beautiful atmosphere of the extraordinary building. Music has been filling the incredible rafters for a long time, as the choir dates right back to the 13th century, and there are a whole variety of music events to come along and experience.
