Tucked away on Kate Humble’s “Humble by Nature” estate just outside Monmouth, Silver Circle Distillery has quickly earned a reputation as one of Wales’ finest spirit producers. Owned and passionately run by Nina and Joe Howden, this award-winning gem has put Welsh gin firmly on the map and let’s not forget their bold and brilliant Bloody Mary, which has also become a fan favourite. With a growing collection of accolades under their belt, it’s no surprise that demand is high. Booking a tour or tasting experience in advance is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. That said, if you’re simply passing through, the on-site bar is a welcoming space to sample their range of expertly crafted drinks, both alcoholic and alcohol-free. The entire team are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about their craft. Whether you’re a spirit connoisseur or a curious newcomer, a visit to Silver Circle is an absolute must.
