Shelbourne Park
Review
Right in the heart of Dublin, Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium has rediscovered its swagger. After a 2024 refurbishment, everything gleams: grandstand sightlines, lively bars, swift service, and a buzz that grabs you the moment the hare starts. Racing here happens every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday making planning easy, experience feels polished yet unmistakably local. Operated by Greyhound Racing Ireland, the track is proudly ethical, with dog welfare at the centre and care continuing long after retirement, reassuring for newcomers and regulars alike. Coming hungry? South Lotts Terrace and the Shelbourne Park Food Hall deliver plates far beyond typical stadium fare, with freshness and flavour that match the pace on track. Staff here at Shelbourne are warm, organised, and on the ball, keeping the evening flowing from first bell to final photo. With atmosphere, comfort, and value in equal measure, it’s a quintessential Dublin night out with a sparkling, modern edge.
