Seaview9 is the kind of Whitby bolthole that makes you exhale the moment you step inside. Framed by sweeping sea views, this luxury flat really has every thoughtful amenity dialled in, from a well-equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi to plush towels and blackout blinds. I first heard about it from the owners of Woodlands Sandsend; knowing their standards, I expected excellence and you’ll find exactly that. Location is spot on: a five-minute stroll to the harbour, shops and restaurants, so once you’ve parked the car you can amble back and forth with ease. The super-king bed is comfortable, the contemporary furnishings feel curated and storage is plentiful for longer stays. It’s a brilliant base for exploring the North Yorkshire Coast, Robin Hood’s Bay, Sandsend and Staithes are within easy reach, yet it remains a peaceful, retreat when you return. Best of all, Seaview9 delivers luxury without the hefty price tag.
