Sandworld Weymouth
SandWorld's incredible sand sculpture festival in Weymouth is home to breathtaking, larger-than-life creations crafted by talented sand sculptors from around the world.
The attraction is open for their 15th season from Saturday 5th April 2025, until Sunday 9th November.
This year is extra special as SandWorld celebrates 100 years of Sand Sculpting Heritage in Weymouth. Fred Darrington, Mark Anderson's grandfather, first began sand sculpting in Weymouth a century ago, and his legacy continues to inspire phenomenal creations today.
During this year's event, see creatures that lived 83 million years ago, a full-colour Egyptian Prince, kids' favourite characters and incredible, inspirational, original artwork from some of the world's finest sand artists. There is something for everyone! It's amazing to think these spectacular sculptures have been carved from just sand and water!

Review
Sandworld is another one of those attractions where I think 150 words just isn't enough. However, that can be said of all of our attractions really. I will start this review by explaining that Sandworld isn't just an attraction, it is a true festival of sand sculptures in every sense of the word. This attraction is the realisation of a couple of very talented gentlemen who's dreams have now come true, and as this attraction goes from strength to strength so does what it is doing for the seaside town of Weymouth. Every year a new theme is introduced to Sandworld and the very best sand sculptors from all over the world are flown in to create what can only be described as pure sand magic. With a fab little cafe and sand pits galore, this attraction is one for all the family and you can spend as little or as long as you like here.
