Located off the seafront at Porthcawl near Bridgend the Salthouse on the Square offers customer dining from 11am in the morning with a Welsh breakfast (served until 11.45am). The lunchtime menu (12pm-3.30pm) is going to an electric mix of traditional & European dishes and there is of course our 2 course Lunch menu available for just £8.95.
For that relaxing and affordable evening out we have something for everyone from our la carte menu to a choice of evening meal offers that change daily (served 5.30pm-9.30pm). We aim to offer the highest quality dishes with the freshest of ingredients and where possible from local suppliers. From welsh black beef to freshly caught fish, our homemade burgers and without a doubt our desserts (which are made here at the Salthouse) there's something to tempt everyone. And now there's even more choice due to our ever popular weekend "Dinner Double Take!" (2 courses for 2 people and a bottle of wine for only £25.00) you're sure to find something to delight your palate!!!
On Sundays we offer a traditional Sunday Lunch alongside a limited bar menu. We also offer children's meals, a regularly changing specials board, a wide variety of coffees, shots and cocktails, free wi-fi, event catering, disability access throughout and much more.
For those party animals who live for the weekend, the Salthouse offers live music from various local bands on the last Friday of every month (starting at 9.30pm), a regular DJ Night every Saturday and great drinks offers such as bottles of lager for just £2 and 5 shots for £10!!! Thursday, Friday & Saturday also sees our fabulous buy one get one free offer on our classic cocktails (including cocktail of the week) from 8pm-11pm!!!
