Raheen Woods Hotel
Review
After hearing so many great things, I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry and was thoroughly impressed. The owners, along with their General Manager Oisín Nevin's high standards are clearly reflected in the team here, who are both friendly and passionate about their work. The rooms, with various categories to choose from, are beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, providing a comfortable and luxurious stay. The hotel's location in Athenry is ideal for exploring the surrounding counties, with Galway, Clare, and Mayo all within easy reach. Even Connemara’s just a short drive away, making it a perfect base for discovering the region. Overall, I highly recommend Raheen Woods Hotel for anyone seeking comfort, quality, and convenience.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The Raheen Woods Hotel here in Athenry offers an excellent food experience to match its high accommodation standards. There are two main dining options, catering to different tastes and occasions. McHales Bar provides a relaxed, traditional Irish setting with a menu that is both hearty and affordable, perfect for casual dining without stretching the budget. For those seeking a more refined experience, along with their very friendly and experienced team, The Cashla Suite delivers a touch of elegance with its elevated dishes. Whether you're after a cosy meal or a special evening out, both options at the hotel promise quality and satisfaction. If you're staying for a few nights, it's worth trying both to enjoy the full range of what Raheen Woods has to offer.
