Pat Collin’s Bar
Review
Pat Collin’s Bar here in Adare is one of those places that feels like it has always belonged exactly where it stands. Adare itself is one of Ireland’s most loved villages, and once you arrive, the charm, heritage and postcard-perfect streetscape quickly make sense. For almost eight decades, the Pat Collin’s Bar has been pulling pints and welcoming locals and visitors alike, and it’s easy to see why it remains such a firm favourite. The addition of food nearly 20 years ago only strengthened its reputation, turning it into one of the village’s go-to spots for a hearty bite and a proper pint. Now in the hands of fourth-generation custodians Michael and Mary Collins, alongside their son Eoghan, the warmth here feels genuine and effortless. Trad music every Wednesday adds another layer, making this far more than a meal out. It’s an Adare experience that can’t be replicated anywhere else.
