Paddy’s Bar & Restaurant
Review
Set in the postcard-pretty village of Terryglass, Paddy’s Bar & Restaurant is exactly the kind of place that keeps me coming back to Tipperary. It’s not my first time featuring Terryglass in my books, and after visiting Paddy’s, it certainly won’t be my last. The Cooney family have proudly brought this much-loved pub back into their hands, and the warmth is felt from the moment you walk in. The kitchen’s reputation is well earned: hearty, honest plates, beautifully cooked, and served with pace and a smile. Settle in by the fire with a pint, or arrive hungry and leave happy. For longer stays, the self-catering accommodation across the road is a brilliant bonus. Expect local chat, lakeside strolls, and a welcome that you won’t forget.
