Paddy Burke’s Bar & Restaurant & The Oyster House
Review
Paddy Burke’s Bar & Restaurant in Clarinbridge is exactly the sort of place that reminds you why this village has such a strong food reputation. Just outside the vibrant city of Galway, Clarinbridge is famous for its oysters and seafood, so fish felt like the natural choice on my visit. I opted for the seabass, and it was honestly one of the tastiest dishes I have enjoyed in ages and plenty of it. The menu itself was hugely tempting, with the kind of selection where almost every dish sounded worth ordering. What also stood out was the service. The team were friendly, efficient and genuinely attentive, making me feel very well looked after from start to finish. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience and highly recommended.
Oyster House
The Oyster House is located in the vibrant Galway village of Clarinbridge and offers exactly the kind of comfortable, well-located accommodation that makes exploring this wonderful corner of the west of Ireland feel totally effortless. Operated by the famous Paddy Burke’s Restaurant, it provides a practical and welcoming base for visitors wanting to enjoy Galway, Clare and even Connemara, all of which are comfortably within reach. Having stayed here during my latest trip to the region, I can confidently say the mattresses are excellent, delivering a genuinely restful night’s sleep after a busy day on the road. While breakfast is not provided, Clarinbridge has plenty of local options nearby. With safe parking, sensible pricing and a relaxed, easy-going feel, The Oyster House fits the bill perfectly.
