Old Padeswood Golf Club
Review
“Hidden behind those emerald green eyes, there lies a soul so beautifully sweet, whose gentleness leaves my heart complete, with kindness which lights up the sky.” Sophspoetry.
Old Padeswood Golf Club is a hidden jewel on land that has been lighting up the hearts and souls of golfers for over 150 years: for this emerald green enigma boasts one of the most beautiful settings in Wales. Situated near the Welsh town of Mold, and a mere 10 miles from Chester, Old Padeswood golf club is a really friendly, first class golf course that welcomes visitors with real genuine warmth, so much so that everyone feels totally at ease as you focus on the glorious day ahead. The Course is 18-hole, and offers acres of endless sky and lush greens, with outstanding views of the magnificent Clwydian mountain range. Presenting golfers with a real challenge, including one of the most difficult opening holes in North Wales, and two of the most memorable finishing holes, the course itself is an oasis of serenity, interspersed by the most wonderful wildlife. Then after you’ve tested your skills on the golf course, enjoy a delicious meal in the lovely, relaxing clubhouse, where the excellent in house chef delivers appetising, locally sourced food.
