Newbiggin Maritime Centre
Review
“The coast-guard, the surf-men down by the deep, steadfastly, bravely, their watch heroic keep, or into the sea-icy cold-they boldly leap.” H. A. Moore.

Located right at the heart of the small fishing port of the tranquil, coastal Village of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, this unique attraction offers enjoyment and interactive experiences for young visitors, along with a restored Rocket House. The Centre is a volunteer organisation; run by an extremely friendly and hardworking team, who provide the Breakwater Café, the Seashore Shop, a three gallery Museum and a Large Latimer Function Room.
