Moyglare Manor
Review
Moyglare Manor, located just a short drive from the charming town of Maynooth, offers an enchanting tour experience that should not be overlooked. Owned and meticulously managed by Angela and Malcolm Alexander, the manor reflects their profound appreciation for art and historical furniture. Angela, a furniture historian, alongside Malcolm, ensures each piece of furniture is perfectly placed, adding to the manor’s aesthetic appeal. Malcolm's guided tour was exceptionally detailed and engaging, showcasing his deep knowledge and passion for the manor’s history. A delightful highlight was the berry scones, arguably the best I've ever tasted. This visit reinforced my belief that smaller historic houses often provide a more intimate and enriching tour than their larger counterparts. Moyglare Manor is a hidden gem, offering visitors an unforgettable glimpse into its storied past. If you're researching historic homes or simply enjoy well-preserved heritage sites, a tour of Moyglare Manor is an absolute must.
