Millside Restaurant
Review
There is something wonderfully reassuring about a restaurant that has stood the test of time, and Millside Restaurant in Cloughmills has been welcoming diners for more than two decades. Hosts Stephanie Gray and Darrel Stevenson bring years of hospitality experience to the table, while Stephanie’s background as a chef ensures that quality, rather than quantity, remains firmly at the heart of everything they do. Whenever I travel, I make a point of eating where the locals eat, and the affection people have for Millside speaks volumes. Surrounded by rich farming country and within easy reach of the Causeway Coast, the kitchen has a genuine appreciation for provenance, seasonality and well-sourced produce. Add a warm, attentive front-of-house team and you have somewhere equally suited to a romantic dinner for two or a relaxed family gathering. Millside has heart, character and consistency and deserves a place on any Northern Ireland food itinerary.
