Milestone Garden & Leisure is an independent garden & visitor centre in the heart of the Scottish Borders - rated as a 4 star garden centre by Visit Scotland and located just off the A68 at Newtown St Boswells. We have something to suit all tastes, from plants to kitchenware to unique gift ideas. Our Route 68 restaurant serves delicious light meals, home baking & refreshments.

There are garden centres up and down our great land, some small, some big, but they all carry one vital similarity and that is, customers absolutely love them and here at the Milestone Garden Centre in the Scottish Borders, they are a prime example just why that is. What I like so much about this particular garden centre, is that its owner, is not content with standing still and is constantly improving and striving to be better and this can be seen with the new renovations that I witnessed upon the day I visited them. The staff are totally professional, always on hand to help the best they can and every member of staff that I came across, all wore their uniforms pristinely, that just shows how proud they are to work here. The food in their Greenhouse Cafe is also excellent and this is replicated in their sister Greenhouse cafe in Melrose.
