Magy’s Farm Experience, tucked away in the tranquil Dromara Hills of Co. Down, is unlike any other venue I’ve encountered. Founded by jazz legend Linley Hamilton and his award-winning radio producer wife Maggie, this unique retreat offers an extraordinary fusion of music, nature, and hospitality. Having traded the chaos of city life for a simpler, richer existence, they’ve unintentionally created something iconic. The venue has become a beacon for jazz lovers, regularly hosting established greats alongside the next generation of rising stars. During my visit, I was struck by the warm, therapeutic atmosphere that surrounds every corner of this special place. And it’s not just the music that leaves an impression, the couple’s two donkeys often steal the spotlight! Maggie’s Northern Irish hospitality was second to none, and the home-cooked food was simply divine. Magy’s Farm is a soulful sanctuary that will leave your heart full and your spirit lifted.
