Eating OutAccommodation

Standing majestically in heart of the beautiful Conwy Valley, with the foothills of the Snowdonia range as a dramatic backdrop, a warm welcome awaits you here at Maenan Abbey.

As soon as you enter our grand entrance hall with its galleried landing and blazing log fire in winter you will feel immediately at home.

Our 14 bedrooms are all individually designed and incorporate Four Poster rooms with Jacuzzis, two bedroomed family suites and a flexible mixture of double and twin rooms.

After a long day exploring some of the many attractions that the area has to offer you can unwind in our friendly bar or relaxing lounge.

A Great deal of refurbishment has been carried out recently including our bar, several of the bedrooms, our exquisite Dining Room and last but not least the gent's Loos, finished wall to wall in black marble with tv screens and a water feature that we promise you will not have seen the likes of before.

All of our bedrooms have flat screen televisions with integrated DVD players and guests are welcome to borrow DVD's from our own complimentary library.

All of our two bedroomed Family Suite's also have a Wii system and to help keep the little ones amused.

Sometimes it's the small things that make all the difference and touches like our Egyptian Cotton Bed Linen, Fluffy Towels and luxurious Gilchrist and Soames Toiletries just add that extra touch of luxury.

Built on the site of the historic 13th Century Cistercian Abbey, the burial place of the princes of Gwynedd, The Abbey's history goes back a long way.
