Maddybenny Holiday Livery Yard, situated near Portrush in Northern Ireland’s breathtaking Causeway Coastal region, is an absolute gem for equestrians. Having traveled extensively across the Island of Ireland, I can confidently say there’s no better place to bring your horse. From stunning white beaches to dramatic cliffs and serene rivers, the surrounding landscapes are nothing short of spectacular. This incredible experience was shaped by Phillip White, fondly remembered as "the ideas man" by those who knew him. Though Phillip sadly passed away in 2021, his vision lives on through his wife, Eavan, and daughter, Tegan, who now run the yard. Their dedication to maintaining Maddybenny’s top-notch standards is evident in every detail. With beautifully kept livery facilities, charming cottages, and a well-appointed campsite, it stands out as one of the finest I’ve seen in 14 years of writing these books. An ideal destination for those seeking the ultimate horse-riding getaway.
