The Lochnell Arms, near Oban in Scotland, is a traditional family-run inn that nestles in splendid surroundings at the edge of Loch Etive. This lochside inn has all the charm of an olde worlde inn with its open fire in the lounge, and various games to play in the public bar. There are amazing views of the loch from the big dining room windows and most bedrooms. In the comfortable rooms Scottish accents are paired with cool, light colours to create a friendly, homely environment. Each of the 10 en-suite rooms has Freeview TV and tea- and coffee-making facilities. This is the perfect place to come home to after a day out sightseeing or walking, cycling or participating in the outdoor activities on offer in the area. Or simply to rest with a good read.
