With 10 beautifully decorated rooms, each named after an Irish lighthouse and carrying a charming nautical theme, the attention to detail is truly impressive. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, providing both comfort and style. The MacManus family, who famously have run the establishment since 1971 genuinely exude warmth & excellence in welcome & hospitality. Their team always goes above and beyond, offering the kind of personalized service that stands out, especially compared to larger hotels. If you’re looking for a welcoming, high-quality stay with a touch of maritime charm, King Sitric is the place to be!

The King Sitric Seafood Bar & Accommodation, run by the renowned MacManus family, is a seafood lover’s paradise. Specialising only in the finest, freshest seafood, the dishes here are a testament to their commitment to quality and tradition. The menu celebrates the bounty of Ireland’s waters. Howth being a traditional fishing port, landings are plentiful & we are able to offer a wide variety of top quality fish & shellfish . Our team of local in-shore fishermen fish exclusively for us for crab, lobster & shrimp right outside the restaurant in Balscadden Bay. It’s all about the fish! – our menu is 95% seafood. For a memorable, authentic seafood experience, King Sitric remains unmatched. I think it is also worth mentioning that you can stay here also, they have ten amazing rooms.
