Kennedy's Drumcondra
Review
Kennedy’s Pub in the heart of Drumcondra is exactly the kind of place that reminds you why Dublin’s pub scene remains so special. Owner Martin Tynan has created one of the area’s most popular and welcoming establishments, and to see the place thriving when I walked in genuinely sent a shiver down my spine. There is a real warmth here, helped greatly by a friendly and attentive team who clearly care about every customer. Next door, Abbington Houses accommodation complements the pub perfectly, offering a selection of newly refurbished bedrooms that are cosy, comfortable and refreshingly affordable and always best here to book direct. Just a couple of short miles from central Dublin, it provides a great night’s sleep without the city centre price tag.
