Review

“ when the world seems to shine like you’ve had too much wine”…
What started out as a seedling of an idea in the mind of a young man, has flourished and sprung into an ever expanding olive tree of success for Johnny Dough's Wood Fired Pizza. One branch is budding nicely in one of the world's finest tourist destinations; the ancient town of Conwy. Positioned at the gateway to Snowdonia, history pours from every door, so while you're absorbing Medieval life and times, how about a meltingly hot, crispy, woodfired homemade pizza, served with style and a smile. Offering both Old and New School favourites such as Margaretta, Hawaiian and BBQ Chicken pizza or luscious Beetroot Pesto and Peking Duck. Vegan and gluten-free options. Refreshing Snowdon lager and a tempting choice of gins add a little magic to the meal.

Rooms

The ancient and beautiful town of Conwy is one of the worlds finest tourist destinations, with magnificent Conwy Castle standing tall and proud as you cross the suspension bridge and enter the town which is encased within 13th Century walls. So, after a long day squeezing yourself into Britain’s smallest house (a local attraction ) or scaling the walls like Spider-Man, the mouthwatering aroma of pizza cooking in a wood fired oven is irresistible. ‘ Johnny’ creates fresh, scrumptious food with both traditional and unique flavours and ingredients. A superb range of drinks from local breweries. What could be more perfect after a leisurely meal, than staying in one of the six extremely stylish rooms. All individually designed with breathtaking views of the Castle, luxurious and sophisticated, but with a lovely relaxed feel.
