James’ Place @ Dowlais

James’ Place Dowlais consists of 8 individually and creatively styled self-catering studios. They are ideally placed for exploring the Brecon Becons, climbing Pen-Y-Fan or visiting Bike Park Wales amongst many of the other great activities in the area or for working away from home. They are only a 5mins drive from the town centre and there is a bus stop right outside which can take you to the main train and bus station. Each studio has a separate but en-suite Kitchenette with all the essentials and Shower-Room. We also like to provide a few luxuries with Soap & Glory complimentary toiletries, a pint of milk and freshly baked home-made welsh cakes to welcome you to Wales.

Self Catering Studio 3 - Sioni
Completed in Summer '17 this individually styled studio provides a place to relax or work from. There are all the necessary essentials with a modern kitchenette, work space, free Wifi (that is easy to connect to) and en-suite shower room.

To add a bit of luxuary at an affordable price each studio is supplied with complimentary:
- Tea & Coffee (including a pint of milk!)
- Soap & Glory Toiletries
- Homemade Welsh Cakes

This Studio has a double bed and sofa bed so can sleep up to 3 adults.

Self Catering Studio 7 - Idris
Newly launched in 2017 an individually styled self catering studios to meet your needs..
​It offers a double bed with soft, clean linen to relax in and an area to work in with free Wifi that is easy to connect to. .
​The kitchenette has a fridge, self induction hob, microwave and all the necessary utensils for easy self catering.
​The en-suite shower room is immaculately clean & fresh with the comfort of complimentary fluffy towel and toiletries !
​It is important to us that you enjoy your stay so we also provide a pint of milk and homemade welsh cakes to welcome you to Wales !

Another of our creatively styled self catering studios, completed in 2017.
​It offers a double bed with soft, clean linen, a place to work, free & easy Wifi all in great surroundings to leave you stress free.
​The kitchenette has a fridge, self induction hob, microwave and all the necessary utensils for easy self catering.
​The en-suite shower room is immaculately clean & fresh plus with the comfort of complimentary fluffy towel and toiletries!
