Situated in the old village of Bwlchymynydd, Loughor in easy walking distance of Pisgah Chapel and Moriah Chapel. Easily accessible from the M4 motorway J47 and within easy reach of Swansea, Gower Peninsula, Llanelli and the rest of South Wales.
Island House was built in 1870 and remained in the Roberts family, throughout the Revivalist period, until the 1950's. The Ellis family acquired the property in 1987 and is only the third family to have lived in the property.
It has been very tastefully refurbished to a very high standard, whilst retaining all the original features including beamed ceilings & open fireplace.
A traditional family home Bed & Breakfast establishment suitable for families, couples or single persons.
Island House is fronting onto the Loughor Estuary Park ideal for walks.
All bedrooms have digital freeview TV, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, whilst the guest lounge also has a DVD player
There are a number of public houses within easy walking distance for evening meals and Sunday luncheon.
