Heeley City Farm
Review
Heeley City Farm breathes calm and purpose, but is a bustling hive of activity and has awe-inspiring gardens, a farmyard, stables, a duck pond, a small animal yard, a wildlife area, and much more! This certified rare breed centre moreover ensures the survival of the threatened species that are on view here. The small animals include the cutest pygmy goats, who are most entertaining with their gymnastics. Birds aplenty abound, starting with the farmyard must – the chickens – that come in a lovely variety of breeds, turkeys, and ducks, right up to the silver peasant. If visiting is not enough, and you need to get closer to the earth, you may come and participate in any of a variety of gardening and other farming opportunities; a very healthy experience. After feeding your soul, make your way to the Kitchen Café for home-made vegan and vegetarian physical nourishment.
