Happy Landing Bar & Restaurant
Review
Hidden away, just a few miles outside Derry, the Happy Landing is a good find, embraced by locals who know great food when they find it. Having dined here with a friend in late 2024, I knew instantly it deserved a place in my Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book. My ethos has always been to follow the locals, they know their eateries best, and this spot is a perfect example of why that approach never fails. The food is freshly prepared with care, passion, and a keen eye for quality ingredients. This may be a local pub, but they take real pride in the provenance of every dish. Having tasted it myself, I can confidently say the food here is top-notch!
