Operates all year round at Caswell Bay, Swansea and during the summer months at Rhossili Bay on Gower. We provide all the surfing equipment you will need for free and we cater for everyone. Our surf coaches have a wide range of experience in coaching peopleand young people from all walks of life from premier league football players/British Lion rugby players to young people on a pathways project. Surfing is for everyone and a great way to break barriers, build confidence and get fit at the same time. Gower Surfing Development is accepted to be one of the leading surf course providers in the UK. GSD believes that surfing is for everyone. One thing I will tell you, surfing is addictive! The most popular surfing sessions last summer was the ‘Family learn 2 surf sessions' and the ‘Taster plus' surf day. Stag and hen weekends, just surfing for the day or a tailor made activity weekend up to you and your group.

There are surf schools all over our coasts, some are great with experienced surfers, and some are just good with beginners, but at the Gower Surf School here at Caswell Bay, they uniquely specialise in both. At Caswell Bay, this is where the majority of inexperienced surfers would start their craft. With experienced and patient instructors, you can be safe in the knowledge that you'll receive more of a one to one with your instructor. Mums & Dads can relax in the coffee shop, and drink a great cup of coffee, believe me I've tried one! and just let your kids get on with learning to surf, a little bit like being at a local swimming pool. The bay here at Caswell is very protected, and you could sit there and literally be anywhere in the world. For a more experienced surfer, GSD also take courses on Rhossili Beach, further along the Gower Coast.
