Gales of Llangollen
Review
“ If adventures will not befall a young lady in her own village, she must seek them abroad. ” J.Austen.
The romantic landscape of the Vale of Llangollen has been attracting visitors for over 200 years. With so many local landmarks and monuments to visit, this charming town positioned on the River Dee, remains extremely popular to this day. Situated in one of the oldest streets in Llangollen, the Grade 11 Georgian hotel, Gales of Llangollen, has long been welcoming visitors through its doors. With its cheerful whitewashed brick front, and elegant sash windows, this resplendent building has been affectionately restored to its former glory. Boasting 16 en-suite bedrooms with original features, such as exposed beams, and timber framing, reveals the authentic splendour of times past. Of course, luckily for modern day travellers, there’s a top notch Wine Bar, cosmopolitan restaurant and extremely good WiFi.
