Fifty50 Restaurant in Templeogue is a stylish neighbourhood gem that feels far closer to the city’s culinary heart than its five-mile distance suggests. Sitting beside the leafy suburb of Rathfarnham, it offers a confident blend of European and Mediterranean dishes, all beautifully presented without straying into fussy territory. Flavours are clean, generous and well-balanced, from vibrant starters to comforting mains. The team are warm, efficient and genuinely engaged, striking that ideal balance between relaxed and attentive. The cleverly curated cocktail menu is a real highlight, encouraging you to linger long after dessert. Prices feel very reasonable for the quality and location, and with an excellent bus service from central Dublin, there’s really no excuse not to visit. I wish there was a Fifty50 near me.
