Come and meet the magnificent, tall, gentle, noble and strong Shire Horses at the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, which has an affiliation with the royal family, with three of its beautiful horses selected for the Queen's Household Cavalry. Set within a real, working farm, this glorious attraction is a dream come true for horse lovers, as visitors can learn all about these ‘gentle giants’ and see how much they are adored and appreciated, by the dedicated team based between the Preseli Hills, and the Coast of North Pembrokeshire. Dyfed Shire Horse Farm also offers a campsite, gift shop, cafe and many more amusements. The land has been farmed by the same family since 1849, and opened to the public in 1992 to help preserve the Dyfed Shire bloodline.
