Druid Inn Llanferres
Review
Sitting perfectly at the gateway to the Offas Dyke path, sits the picture postcard Druid Inn. Inside the pub, it has everything you can expect to find from a building that was built in the 16th Century. The owners Sam & Royston, have put everything in making sure that your visit here is one that not only will you remember, but one that’ll bring you back time and time again. They have a number of well furnished rooms and with this ancient inn being the age it is, you can expect a few uneven floors as you make your way to what is going to be a very pleasurable stay. 116 A lot of people just stay for one night enroute along the Offas Dyke, but I think that’s a huge waste, as the Druid Inn offers an amazing base for people wanting to discover the wider North Wales region.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The Druid Inn here in the sleepy village of Llanferres, offers the very best in locally sourced and locally produced food. There is nothing pretentious or fussy about their food, just good honest fare and all at a good and honest price. Having chosen the Druid Inn out of a number of places locally, in all the reviews I’ve read thus far, all seem to focus on the word fresh, which is always a great sign when eating out these days. I think it also worth mentioning that this country inn is also dog friendly, for those of you with well behaved dogs and in the winter, along with their open and roaring fire, when it’s blowing a hooley out there, you couldn’t wish to be anywhere else. The Druid also has a small selection of rooms and all at a very reasonable price, so what are you waiting for?
