Canal boats of many colours are available, at Dragonfly Cruises, where you can spend a glorious couple of hours drifting dreamily along the sublime Monmouthshire and Brecon canal. Chugging sedately through rippling waters, offers a little taste of freedom, as you absorb the outstanding scenery lying within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Nothing could be more relaxing and enjoyable than pootling along through the Welsh countryside, on one of the most beautiful and peaceful waterways following the line of the Usk Valley. Family run, and family friendly, enjoy a light bite whilst aboard, as Dragonfly Cruises takes you through a canal lock and over an aqueduct where you can disembark and relish the views. The crew are fabulous and friendly, and so full of fascinating facts, you and the family will be held spellbound.
