High above the Dovey Valley in Central Wales, our 350 acres provide the ideal setting for an exhilarating shoot with a wide range of targets which simulate the birds in truly realistic conditions. A visit can be tailored to suit your requirements with as many drives as required up to a full day’s shoot.

For a day out with a big difference: Dovey Valley Shooting Ground makes a fantastic way to indulge your competitive side, release some stress, as well as having some excellent fun with friends and family. Whether you're completely new to clay shooting or a seasoned pro, you’ll be met with a lovely warm welcome by owner Richard Jones and team, who’s grandfather, Hugh, first established the grounds. Set on the picturesque Southern Border of Snowdonia National Park: the commanding views, and precipitous terrain of North Wales, allows for an enormous variety of targets. There is a huge Sporting area with more than 100 stands alongside a Skeet area where visitors can practise ABT, DTL or classic Skeet shooting. With targets to please all at Dovey Valley, and instructors available to help everyone, why not have a blast!
