Cullintra House

Accommodation

Cullintra House offers guests a choice of rooms and styles of accommodations. Whether you stay in the historic farmhouse itself or the sympathetically renovated Chaff House or Gallery Room the emphasis is always on comfort and tranquility.

Guest Bedrooms

6 Guest Rooms in total
Including Double Rooms, Triple Rooms & a Family Suite
Stone Glamping Cottage
Stay in Historic Farmhouse, Chaff House or Gallery Room

Cullintra House offers overnight accommodation in five guest bedrooms in the Farmhouse. These range in size and configuration to suit couples, families or those travelling alone.

You won’t find flat screen TV’s or telephones in your room; Cullintra is a traditional Irish Farmhouse where we encourage guests to relax and escape from the pressures of everyday life.

What you will find are comfortable beds made up with all natural fibres – crisp cotton sheets, woollen blankets, feather and down pillows and quilts.

Period furniture and some of Patricia’s unique finds ensure that guest rooms are bright and welcoming.

We recommend 2 night stays to fully appreciate the area and to fully relax into a slower pace of life.

Gallery Room

The Gallery Room is a self-contained suite with sitting/dining room and an ornate spiral staircase leading to a double guest bedroom on a mezzanine floor.

There is a log burner in this room; ideal for cosy evenings. The furnishings are a mixture of modern one-off pieces and period details. The walls are adorned with unique artwork by Patricia, most of which are available to purchase.

The Chaff House

A unique and very charming addition to Cullintra House’s accommodation is The Chaff House. A separate double room located in the Barn with exposed stone-work, colourful accessories and direct access via french doors to the stone yard.

Stone Glamping Cottage

A charming stone cottage set apart from the main house, our Glamping Cottage offers seclusion and privacy.Facilities include an open plan sitting room & bedroom (bedroom is on mezzanine, accessed by a staircase) and a relaxation room that can double as an additional bedroom. There is a log burner and toilet but guests should note that there is no electricity.A beautiful and quiet spot to spend a romantic break with the one you love.
