Just five minutes from Kilkenny City Centre, Countryside Leisure Activity Centre is a family-run gem specialising in all things shooting. An indoor rifle range, dedicated archery lanes, and a purpose-built clay pigeon arena mean variety, challenge, and big smiles. The instructors are seasoned, experienced, calm and encouraging; they guide every shot with clear tips and rock-solid safety, so you’re in very good hands. I loved every minute of my visit and was genuinely impressed by the spotless facilities and the patient coaching that lifts confidence fast. Founded by Eamon’s father in 1992, the centre has been attracting visitors from far and wide ever since. Their best value, in my view, is the package that lets you try all three disciplines, perfect for friends, couples, or teams. Whether you’re an experienced shot or brand new, you’ll leave feeling accomplished and looked after. Superb value, memorable fun, I can’t recommend this enough!
