Cosmeston Country Park and Medieval Village is open all year round for visitors of all ages and abilities, and is jam-packed full of beautiful sights, sounds and sensational scenery. Set within the Vale of Glamorgan, this amazing attraction makes a perfect day out for you and the family: fulfilling that essential need we all have: to be out and about in the company of Mother Nature. Discover over 100 hectares of lakes, reed beds, woodlands and meadows, where there is always something wonderful happening amongst the local wildlife. As a haven for wildlife, there are two beautiful lakes which attract large flocks of waterfowl, mute swans, mallards and diving birds such as the great crested grebe. Whilst over on the western side: excavations revealed the remains of a community over 600 years old, and you can visit this remarkable, reconstructed 14th century medieval village, with glorious costumed guides, who introduce and invite you into their ancient environment
