Coaltown Coffee Roastery
Review
“I don’t need an inspirational quote: I need coffee.” S. Thoughts.
At Coaltown Coffee Roasters HQ in Ammanford, South West Wales, the coffee is roasted daily by hand in small batches, delicately drawing out the complex flavour notes from raw green beans. Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, once famous for its black gold - coal - is now producing an excellent new black gold: coffee, heavenly, delicious coffee! Situated on the edge of town, Ammanford has a large, and very much alive Welsh speaking community, and Coaltown Coffee is a sustainable, Award-Winning product, with local people doing all the roasting and packing. Fall head over heels for this sublime speciality, made even more glorious, when served with a generous slice of scrumptious cake, this is a coffee experience to be savoured. There’s a laid back, friendly atmosphere throughout, with shiny chrome and vintage leather furnishings, and you are greeted at the door by a delicious cloud of steamy, luscious coffee, all served by a truly terrific team.
