This 4-star establishment just south of Fort William is the perfect base from which to launch your tour of the Scottish Highlands. This family-run hotel has magnificent views, taking in Loch Linnhe and the Morven hills in a dramatic fashion from the large windows in the lovely restaurant. The rooms are newly renovated and immaculate, each with its own en-suite and sitting area. There are a variety to choose from, so be sure to nab the ones with the views by booking in advance. Room rates include a full Scottish breakfast or Continental buffet, and a packed breakfast is on offer for the early explorers. The restaurant offers a delicious Scottish variety, from traditional home-cooked meals and fresh seafood, to catering for vegetarians and vegans.
