Childrens Farm Park
Floss the donkey and her friends, various pigs, rabbits, calves, ducks, hens, small pigmy goats and many other birds and animals too.All the animals are housed in farm buildings, so you'll have a great time no matter what the weather is like! And we of course have an indoor play bar, which is a must on wet days. In spring and early summer you can have a go at bottle-feeding the lambs and calves. Animal feed is available from the reception through out the season for you to hand feed the goats, lambs, calves, ducks and chickens. Situated at the Children's farm park we have a small family campsite for tents, motor vans and caravans. Facilities include toilets, mains water and hot showers.
Review
The farm park here in Llanfair has grown from strength to strength over the years. There is always something to capture the imaginations and hearts of all ages of children and if their totally honest the adults also. What I liked about this attraction was the great family atmosphere that surrounds the place and the views across the Cardigan bay, Shell Island etc. are absolutely breath taking. With the proximity of the Slate Caverns being so close it would be a shame not to do both, or if you have small children and teenagers you could send dad off with the teenagers down to the slate caverns leaving mum and the little ones to enjoy feeding the animals. What I liked so much about this site is there something for everybody and you can use your ticket for a free return visit should you not have the time to see everything.
