Review

Castlestone Holiday Cottages are a wonderful example of how thoughtful restoration can create something truly special. Family owned and lovingly run by your hosts Louise and Johnny, these former stone barns have been transformed with no expense spared, offering luxury, comfort and plenty of character. For couples seeking a romantic escape, The Pheasant, The Buzzard and The Vixen provide beautifully finished retreats, each with an intimate feel that makes slowing down together very easy indeed. They also work perfectly for a small family. For those travelling with friends or needing a little more space, The Deer and The Stag townhouses each offer two bedrooms and the same high standard throughout. Perfectly positioned in Co. Kildare, Castlestone is close to many of the county’s best attractions while also offering easy access to the motorway. Stylish, peaceful and welcoming, this is the kind of place that turns a short break into something truly memorable.
