Caffi Wylfa
Review
“There is no passion to be found in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” Nelson Mandela.
There is more than just a sprinkle or two of passion added to the freshly ground brew that’s on offer, at the excellent Caffi Wylfa. For this is a social enterprise run cafe, situated on Castle Road, in the small border town of Chirk in Wrexham, and with stunning views and an extensive menu: makes the perfect place to stop and rest awhile. Serving great food and artisan coffee, the atmosphere is light and cheery, with an abundant menu that includes; hot and iced drinks, scrumptious savoury and sweet treats, Sunday roasts, bespoke celebration cakes plus the most delightful afternoon tea. This fascinating rural area is rich with heritage, and Caffi Wylfa is actually part of the community building ‘Glyn Wylfa’, built in 1899, and is just a breath away from Chirk Aqueduct. With the constant devotion to raising money for good causes; this much-adored cafe offers a lot more than seriously good coffee.
