Tricks and Treats at the Butlers Chocolate Experience this Mid Term and Hallowe’en!

Eat, drink, and be scary, Saturday 26st October to 31st October inclusive

With schools out and ghouls out for Hallowe’en mid-term, the Butlers Chocolates Factory Tour in Dublin is spooktacular experience for chocolate lovers of all ages.

The bewitching chocolate factory tour promises to be hauntingly good fun for all the family. All the ghouls and gals should wear their scariest Hallowe’en costumes between October 29th to 31st for the chance to win a fabulous prize each day.

Visitors will learn where chocolate comes from and how it was discovered, as well as seeing how exactly their favourite Butlers Chocolates are made in a real, working chocolate factory. While being escorted by Butlers spooky staff.

In the Experience Room, as if by magic, Butlers chocolate masters will demonstrate how they produce all the delicious chocolates and sweet treats. And, everyone can decorate their own chocolate pumpkin to bring home as a tasty souvenir.

Afterwards, why not enjoy a decadent Butlers’ award-winning hot chocolate or indulgent sweet treat in the onsite Butlers Chocolate Café?

One of the best family days out this Hallowe’en, a visit to the Butlers factory tour is educational, informative, just a little bit spooky, and most of all, great fun! The tour lasts about an hour and a half and the Butlers factory is located just 6 km from Dublin city centre and 5 minutes from the M50/M1 junction. There is plenty of complimentary onsite parking and the building is fully accessible.

Review

The Butlers Chocolate Experience offers a delightful behind-the-scenes look into one of Ireland’s most beloved chocolate brands. Established in 1932 by Marion Butler, the company’s dedication to quality has grown beyond Ireland, with Butlers chocolates now enjoyed in over 40 countries and 60 airports worldwide. The factory tour feels like stepping into a modern-day Wonka wonderland, giving visitors a real insight into the absolute craftsmanship behind their delicious treats. Having endorsed this tour twice now, I’ve been consistently impressed by how much it has evolved, offering a richer, more immersive experience each time. It’s easily on par with other iconic Irish tours like Jameson Whiskey, and it’s a fantastic way to explore Ireland’s world-class chocolate industry. The team here are really friendly and knowledgeable, you arrive as a visitor and leave as a friend. If you’re a chocolate lover, this experience is worth every penny and a perfect day out!
