Borders Textile Towerhouse
Review
I touched upon this on one of my other reviews, but i’ll say it again, Live Borders have been so integral to museums and attractions within the Scottish Borders and the staff employed by the organisation, really do have a passion for every single attractions within their fold. Here at the Borders Textile Townhouse, this is no different. What really does get brought back to life and what quickly hit home to me, was the images and artefacts of a time where fashion was just finding its feet and whereas now, textiles are being made abroad, this attraction really does explain exactly why the British Isles was top of its Textile game and in some ways, ahead of its time. Housed within a house with a vast history itself, you’ll be able to learn what life would of been like for not only the workers, but for all that lived here.
