Black Bull Inn Moffat
Review
There is something wonderfully romantic about spending a night in a historic Scottish inn, and Moffat’s Black Bull Inn certainly delivers. Dating back to 1568, with connections to Scotland’s celebrated poet Robert Burns, this remarkable establishment has centuries of stories hidden within its walls. Yet, for me, its greatest treasure is its latest custodian, Janie Seaton, whose passion and dedication have made this award winning inn such a special place. Having appeared on Channel 4’s Four in a Bed, Janie and her wonderful team know exactly how to make guests feel welcome. For couples seeking a romantic Scottish escape, the atmosphere, character and comfortable accommodation make this an irresistible choice. However, whether travelling with family, friends or your four legged companion, everyone receives the same genuine hospitality. Situated at the end of Moffat’s charming Main Street, this is somewhere I wholeheartedly recommend. One final tip: book directly and well in advance!
