Bewdley Museum
Ideally located in the heart of picturesque Bewdley, this Museum is in the perfect location. The displays are all exclusive and unique. From the individual collections to the incredible blend of geological, industrial and historical stories which this Museum reveals so well, this trip will definitely stick in your mind. A great venue to visit for all ages, prepare yourself to be amazed. The 1940's air raid shelter is particularly fascinating and unbelievable to visit. The guided tour will reveal many more incredible areas throughout the visit too. There are even some very creative displays in the Grade II listed Butchers Shambles, Town Gaols and Brass Foundry. If you want to eat something, the Shambles Café is open all day and has some great snack options to offer. For a little bit of extra fun, visitors can also participate in some workshops, take part in some entertaining activities, or enjoy some of the regular exhibitions too. There are events happening from time to time, so do keep an eye out!
Review
I am going to be completely honest with you, to tell you all about how great Bewdley Museum is in just 150 Words I truly am going to struggle, but I will try. Set in an historic Butchers Shambles, this museum really does give the likes of other similar attractions a run for its money when it comes to visitor experience set against monetary value. Once entering the museum at its front entrance, like a Tardis, once you've step inside, the site truly is huge. From an example of an old town jail, to a traditional air raid shelter, history really does come alive here and that's not just it, every effort has be enough made to make sure you enjoy your visit and this shines through everything on offer here at Bewdley. With a great cafe, super friendly staff and beautiful gardens, Bewdley has all you need for a great morning or afternoon visit, but don't take my word for it, you may need longer!
