Bakehouse NI
Review
Bakehouse NI is the lifelong dream of the ever-charismatic Bronagh Duffin, brought beautifully to life in her purpose-built cookery school kitchen. Tucked away in the charming village of Bellaghy, this hidden gem offers visitors a warm welcome and a hands-on masterclass in traditional Irish baking. What sets Bakehouse NI apart is Bronagh herself, her infectious passion, welcoming nature, and deep-rooted love for homegrown ingredients make every visit here memorable. Many of the ingredients used in her classes are grown right on site, including the elderflowers she turns into the most delicious cordial, which I was lucky enough to sample. The joy of learning here is not just in the baking, but in the eating too, everything you make, you get to enjoy! Bakehouse NI has fast become one of Northern Ireland’s most celebrated cookery experiences and it’s easy to see why. Bronagh is a true ambassador for Irish food heritage.
