We had all but finished this Northwest England book, when I managed to uncover what has turned out to be one of Cheshire's biggest hidden gems. Although this estate has only been in the Rowlinson family since 1987, Abbeywood has been transformed by this family into a small paradise for walkers and green fingered folk alike. Whilst walking around the gardens and grounds of the estate, I felt as thought I could of been literally anywhere, but in reality this estate is situated in some of Cheshire's best rolling countryside. My travels take me to some amazing cafes and restaurants, and Abbeywood boasts an amazing garden cafe. It's easy to see that no expense has been spared to make sure that after your meander around these timeless gardens and vast estate, you can relax your weary feet with some amazing cakes, pastries and tasty coffee.
