5 Corners Guest Inn
Review
The 5 Corners Inn, in the charming Antrim village of Ballyclare, is every bit as cosy and welcoming as its name suggests. Having appeared in the last edition of my Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book, I have always had a real soft spot for this place and the locality. Now under new ownership, and in the capable hands of the same team behind the much-loved Olderfleet Bar & Restaurant in Larne, its future looks very bright indeed. The accommodation here offers everything needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay, with cosy, well-furnished rooms that feel both homely and practical. Best of all, a stay here offers genuine value for money and certainly will not break the bank. I cannot recommend this place enough!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Here at the 5 Corners Inn in the Antrim village of Ballyclare, the food offering is already shaping up to be something rather special. Believe me, this pub is every bit as cosy as the village sounds, and that warmth will naturally carry through to the plates coming to you from the kitchen. Now under new ownership, with the same team behind the much-loved Olderfleet Bar & Restaurant in the port of Larne, standards are clearly in safe hands. Having featured the 5 Corners Inn in the last edition of my Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book, I have always had a special affection for this place. With honest food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, I know they won’t let you down.
